OUR dedicated staff & AWESOME Management Team

The majority of our production team is based in the heart of the Viphya Forest, with many having been part of our journey since we began in 2009. Our Lilongwe-based sales and operations team continues to grow steadily. Women currently make up approximately 30% of our workforce, taking on key roles ranging from head administration and field management to tractor operation and retail sales. As we expand our essential oil and charcoal production, along with the Virisafe product line, we aim to achieve 50% female representation by 2030.

nebson chiloko- Managing Director

Nebson is co-founder and Manager Director in Malawi. Being a forester by profession, he and his family have built the plantation on the ground since inception and he runs the day to day production.

TANYA CLARKE- CEO

Tanya is CEO, and the Clarke family founded Kawandama Hills in 2009. Tanya is an entrepreneur and has been in Malawi for nearly 20 years investing in and building her businesses.

CHIMEMWE GONDWE

Chimemwe is our Accounts Officer and manages the tricky business of finance.

ANASTACIA KUMWENDA

Anastacia is our Chief Administrator overseeing administration and HR.

RONALD LONGWE

Ronald is our Operations Manager and oversees production and forestry when needed.
