The varied topography means that we have 1,900ha of trees planted across these rolling hills. A large majority of land is planted for the production of lemoneucalyptus oil and #sustainablecharcoal. We also have #pinetrees, #eucalyptus and #redmahogany planted for the timber industry. Unlike our lemon eucalyptus - also called Corymbia citriodora - which have quick growth cycles, our timber trees take 18-30 years to mature. The Malawi Government granted KHP access to Viphya back in 2009.
